Wilson Nottingham Shreeves

Wilson Nottingham Shreeves, 92, husband of the late Louise Fisher Shreeves and a resident of Cheriton, VA, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Cheriton, he was the son of the late Louis B. Shreeves and the late Daisy Wilkins Shreeves. Mr. Shreeves retired from G.L. Webster, was a member of the Cheriton United Methodist Church, and was a U.S. Navy WWII veteran. Survivors include a daughter, Toy Scott-Dennis and her husband, Tim, of Jacksonville, FL; a sister-in-law, Martha F. Rolley, of Heritage Hall, Nassawadox, VA; five grandchildren, Lee Rippon, Sarah H. Hande, Gina Friedman, Ted Holmes, Maggie Rippon; seven great-grandchildren; and several beloved nieces and nephews. Mr. Shreeves was predeceased by a daughter, Margaret "Peggy" S. Rippon. Funeral services will be held from the graveside of Capeville Masonic Cemetery, Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 1:00 PM with the Reverend Lynda Moore officiating.
