Wilson Powell Bradford

Wilson Powell Bradford, 91, husband of the late Virginia Kellam Bradford and a resident of Oakland Park, Exmore, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox. A native of Oakland Park, he was the son of the late John W. Bradford and the late Betty Massey Bradford. He was a retired farmer and attended Maranatha Baptist Church. He is survived by a goddaughter, Amanda Bennett, a godson, Elizah Smith of Exmore, Va., and a special friend, Mary Wood all of Exmore, Va.; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Bradford was predeceased by five brothers and three sisters. Funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. from the graveside of Belle Haven Cemetery with Rev. Jonathan Carpenter and Mr. Kemmie Dize officiating. Family will join friends Thursday evening from 7 to 8:00 at the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore.
