William L. Ward

Mr. William L. Ward, 81, husband of the late Jean Smith Ward and a resident of Exmore passed away Sunday, May 22, 2005 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox. Mr. Ward a native of Jamesville, Virginia was the son of the late Lonnie Ward and the late Blanche Kellam Ward. He was retired from the maintenance department of DePaul Hospital in Norfolk, Va. He was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. Mr. Ward is survived by a niece, Phyllis J. Hinman and her husband Frank of Willis Wharf, Va., two great nephews, Douglas F. Hinman of South Hill, Va., Ray Anthony Hinman of Chesapeake, Va.; one great niece, Kimberly Marie Taylor of Parksley, Va. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at 11:00 am from the graveside of Belle Haven Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Muender and Mr. Kemmie Dize officiating.
