William Glynn Leffler

February 28, 1933 — August 5, 2012

William Glynn Leffler, 79, husband of Danielle Faulkner Leffler and a resident of Eastville, VA, formerly of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, went to be with the Lord Sunday, August 5, 2012. A native of West Palm Beach, FL, he was the son of the late Irvin Glen Leffler and the late Cora Keen Leffler. He was a 1951 graduate of Palm Beach High School, served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War, a member of the Masonic Harmonia Lodge #138 AF & AM in West Palm Beach for over 50 years, a member of the Capeville Masonic Lodge #107 AF & AM, a member and Deacon of Lower Northampton Baptist Church,and a member of the Scottish Rite of Free Masonry in Lake Worth, FL. He retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Corp. after 38 years of service, and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and most of all loved his family. In addition to his wife of 55 years, he is survived by a son, Dr. William Glynn Leffler, Jr. and his wife, Dr. Deborah Haas Leffler; two daughters, Elizabeth Leffler Oraham and her husband, Pastor Greg K. Oraham, Julie Leffler Wagner and her husband, Gary William Wagner; one sister, Martha Ballard; four brothers, Robert Leffler, Carl Leffler, Richard Leffler, David Leffler; seven grandchildren, Rebecca Marie Leffler, Justin Todd Leffler, Rick James Oraham, Kristen Elizabeth Oraham, Cole Gregory Oraham, Dr. Ashley Leigh Wagner, Trisha Renee Wagner; three great grandchildren, Savannah Lane Murray, Mia Elizabeth Oraham, Abigail Lynn Oraham; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Leffler was predeceased by three brothers, John Leffler, Irvin Leffler, and Jerry Leffler. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Lower Northampton Baptist Church with Reverend Jeff Conrow officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lower Northampton Baptist Church, c/o Mrs. Anne Gray, P. O. Box 907, Eastville, VA 23347.
