William E. Jones

William Edward Jones, 73, husband of the late Joyce Marie McNeal Jones and a resident of Exmore passed away Saturday July 30, 2005 at Shore Memorial Hospital. Mr. Jones, a native of Belle Haven, was the son of the late Isaac Deshield Jones and the late Emma Savage Jones. He retired from Boggs Water and Sewage and was a member of Belle Haven Presbyterian Church. Mr. Jones is survived by a sister, Margaret Jones Carpenter of Belle Haven, Va., two brothers, I.D. Jones, Jr. and his wife Sandra of Belle Haven, Va., Franklin D. Jones and his wife Glenda of Suffolk, Va. and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Kathryn Jones Bell. Funeral services will be conducted Monday August 1, 2005 at 2:00 PM from Epworth United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tammy Estep officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Haven Cemetery. The family will join friends Sunday evening from 7 to 8:30 at Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore. Arrangements made by Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore.
