William E. Huffman

Mr. William E. Huffman, 67, husband of Katie Smith Huffman and a resident of Bloxom passed away at his residence on Thursday, October 6, 2005. A Native of Bobtown, Virginia, he was the son of the late Alfred Huffman and the late Irene Evans Huffman. He was retired from Delmarva Forest Products. Other than his wife he is survived by a daughter, Kathy H. Shelton and her husband Gene of Painter, Va.; two sons, William C. "Billy" Huffman and his wife Evelyn of Melfa, Va. and Greg Huffman of Belle Haven, Va.; two sisters, Bessie O'Kusky of Craddockville, Va. and Annie Moore of Baltimore, Md.; four brothers, Earl Huffman of Exmore, Va., David Huffman of Portsmouth, Va., Frank Huffman of Exmore, and Buddy Huffman of Delaware; three grandchildren, Tina Shelton, Jenny Huffman, Josh Huffman, and his devoted dog, Bear. Mr. Huffman was predeceased by a daughter, Angela Scott Huffman and two grandsons, Gene Paige Shelton, Jr. and Michael James Huffman; three brothers and a sister. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, October 9, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with Pastor Chad Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Haven Cemetery, Belle Haven, Virginia. Family will join friends at the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore one hour prior to the service.
