William Leonard Hamilton, Jr., 62, husband of Marie Small Hamilton, a resident of Melfa, died Saturday, April 30, 2005 at his residence. Mr. Hamilton a native of Seaview,was the son of the late W. Leonard Hamilton and the late Louise Mister Hamilton. He was a member of Market Street United Methodist Church. He was a retired Regulatory Inspector for Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Mr. Hamilton was a graduate of Cape Charles High School and a graduate from Virginia Tech in 1964 with a B.S. Degree. He was a member of the Nurseryman Association, past member of the Onley Town Council, Past President and life member of the Jaycees and served fourteen years on the Accomack County School Board. Other than his wife, Mr. Hamilton is survived by three children, Amy H. Fowler of Cramerton, N.C., William Leonard Hamilton III and his wife Johanna of Onley, Va., Jonathan C. Hamilton and his wife Joni of New Church, Va.; one brother, Eric C. Hamilton and his wife Janet of Nokomis, Fla.; two grandchildren, Dustin Aigner and William L. Hamilton IV both of Onley,Va. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at 11:00 AM from the graveside of Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Onancock, with the Rev. Charles A. Shumate officiating. Family will be joining friends at the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Shore Cancer Center, P.O.
