William Atkinson

William Irvin Atkinson, 83, husband of the late Patricia Waterfield Atkinson and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at his residence. A native of Belle Haven, VA, he was the son of the late James D. Atkinson and the late Elvira Hastings Atkinson. He was a retired Plant Superintendent for Bayshore Concrete Products and a member of the Exmore Moose Lodge #683.

He is survived by a daughter, Carla Atkinson of Texas; a stepson, Stephen Nuttall and his wife, Patricia, of Salisbury, MD; and four grandchildren, Spencer Davis, Chandler Winnie, Katlyn Oakley, and Alexandra Nuttall. He was predeceased by a daughter, Lynn Davis.

A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 1:00PM at Belle Haven Cemetery with  Reverend Curtis Lucy officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Belle Haven United Methodist Church, Post Office Box 37, Belle Haven, VA 23306.
