Wesley Clayton Spruill passed from this earth December 16th, 2021 in Virginia Beach, Virginia at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Virginia Beach, Virginia. He was born March 13th, 1981 to Andrea Eve Corbin and William Elwood “Wes” Spruill. Wesley was a beautiful and gentle soul who lived life the fullest possible and made the most of every moment. He was blessed with a son in 2002, who was the light of his life that he truly treasured. Being a good father was the most important thing in his life and Wesley excelled at being a good father. Being a good son was next and again he proved excellent. Wesley was a gift to his entire family and there was no one who could help but to love Wesley. Wesley loved each and every one deeply. He was a true friend to so very many, always helping, always supporting, always encouraging. Wesley gave and gave of himself never expecting anything in return. He was an anchor to many, holding them steady. He believed that it only takes a moment to show kindness to someone or something, and he lived it. He remained good friends with Brooke, the mother of his son, not just because of parenting together but because she had given him the only gift in life he would not part with, their son.
Left to hold him in their hearts and grateful for having the privilege to have been a part of his life are, his beloved son, Dylan Dakota Blade Spruill, his mother, whom he cherished, Andrea Eve Corbin Spruill Robertson, his big sister, Raven M. Spruill, his twin brother, Jamie S. Spruill, step brother, Jonathan Tuttle, mother of his son, Brooke Patton, aunts and uncles, Risë C. Carroll, Sandy and John Perkins, Irene and Joseph Brown, Jenifer G. Keech, Bobby and Dina Bailey, Joseph and Alice Finley, and many cousins. Also, his dear friend and best buddy since childhood, Joey Weindel. He was predeceased by his father William E. “Wes” Spruill, and his grandparents.
To honor Wesley’s wishes, he will be cremated. There will be no services at this time but the family will have a celebration of his life at a future date. In lieu of flowers or other expressions of kindness please consider a donation to his son or directly to the funeral home to help with expenses.
Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird!?, It’s a plane!?, It’s SUPERMAN!
