Weary L. Clark

February 5, 1916 — May 12, 2006

Mrs. Weary Loving Clark, 90, wife of the late William Cager Clark and a resident of Cape Charles passed away Friday May 12, 2006 at the home of her daughter in Birdsnest. Mrs. Clark, a native of Amherst Co., Va. was the daughter of the late Jessie and Bell Sorrels. Mrs. Clark is survived by her seven children; Jean Spence and her husband John of Birdsnest, Va., Nancy Kara of Townsend, Va., Joanne Bunting and her husband Dixie of Gloucester, Va., Louis Clark of Cheriton, Va., Johnny Clark and his wife Joyce of West Point, Va., Marvin Clark and his wife Cindy of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Wayne "Guss" Clark and his wife Kay of Cheriton, Va., 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Clark was predeceased by a daughter, Elsie Milstead and three grandchildren; Cindy "Dee Dee" Churn, Mary Ann Lewis and Andrea Clark. Funeral services will be conducted Monday May 15, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the graveside of Cape Charles Cemetery with the Rev. Russell Goodrich officiating. Family will join friends Sunday evening from 7 to 8:30 at the Wilkins-Doughty, Funeral Home, Cape Charles.
