Wayne K. Hicks

Mr. Wayne K. Hicks, 53, of Baltimore, Maryland, formerly of Exmore, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2008. He was the son of Evelyn Belote Tarr and the late James L. Hicks. He was born in Maryland and was raised and lived on the Eastern Shore for awhile. He moved back to Maryland 25 years ago and made that his home. He was a loving son, father and brother. He will be sadly missed. Other than his mother, he is survived by his two daughters, Johanna Hamilton and her husband Will of Onley, Va., Kelly Brewster and her husband Dan of Belle Haven, Va.; brother, Larry Hicks of Exmore; three sisters, Deborah H. Colburn and her husband Doug of Exmore, Sandra M. Hicks of Melfa, Va., and Patty Ann Killmon of N.Y.; five grandchildren, Dustin Aigner, Toby Hamilton, Katie, Brandon, and Christian Brewster; a cousin, Scott Hicks and his wife Tonya of Ridge, Md.; four nieces, two great nephews and one great niece. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with Mr. Kemmie Dize officiating.
