Warren Smith

James Warren Smith, 67, a resident of Quinby, VA, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Exmore, VA, he was the son of the late Joseph Thomas Smith, Jr. and the late Ann Warren Smith. He was a retired admissions clerk at Shore Memorial Hospital and a member of Hollies Baptist Church.

He is survived by two brothers, David Smith and his wife, Ethel, of Omaha, NE, Joe McKnight and his wife, Kelly, of Eure, NC; a sister, Kim S. Riggins and her husband, Dale, of Chesterfield, VA; nieces and nephews, Paul and Betsey Sterling, Michael and Andrew Smith, Carol Bailey, Elizabeth and Holly McKnight and Emily Hurley; numerous great nieces and nephews; and a special family friend, Carolyn Bono. He was predeceased by a sister, Rita Sterling.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 18, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Hollies Baptist Church with Reverends David Riley, Joe McKnight and Rob Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family will join friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Riverside Shore Hospice, P.O. Box 616, Onley, VA.
