Warren Edward Dix

Warren Edward Dix, 87, and a resident of Cape Charles, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009 at his residence. A native of Cape Charles, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary Lawson Dix. He was a retired postmaster for Machipongo Post Office and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He is survived by a cousin, Bertha Mae Michael of Cape Charles, Va., and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Dix was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur and Isaac Dix, and a sister, Edna Dix. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the graveside of Cape Charles Cemetery with the Rev. DeWayne Duncan officiating.
