William Byron Collins, 52, of Melfa, VA, son of William V. Collins and wife June of Melfa, and Margaret Ellen Kellam Amadeo and husband Irvin T. of Harborton, VA, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010. Byron was retired from Wicomico County Health Department in Salisbury, MD where he was an addiction counselor at Wicomico Behavioral Health. Survivors include two children, January Nicole Collins of Norfolk, VA and William Thomas Collins and wife Erin of Toano, VA; a stepsister, Pamela Goga Clayton and husband Todd of Onancock, VA and a stepbrother, Gerald Anthony Goga and wife Laura of Melfa, VA; a great aunt and uncle, several cousins, nephews, and a close friend, Karen Melson. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Groton's Cemetery in Hallwood, VA with the Rev. Kenneth Armstrong officiating. A reception at the Exmore Moose Lodge will follow the service.
