Virginia Murden Sprouse

Mrs. Virginia Murden Sprouse, 85, a resident of Nassawadox, Virginia, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2006 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox, Va. A native of Hampton, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late William P. Murden and the late Bessie McDaniel Murden. She was a retired clerk for Sears and a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Newport News, Virginia. She is survived by two sons, Joseph J. Sprouse, Jr. and his wife Lara of Nassawadox, Va., & Richard P. Sprouse and his wife Rhonda of Texas; two brothers, William P. Murden, Jr. and his wife Mabel of Missouri, & John Murden and his wife Anne of Richmond, Va.; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Hill. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday December 2, 2006 at 1:00 pm from the graveside of Green Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Newport News, Va. with the Rev. John B. Haynes officiating.
