Virginia R. Ferguson

Virginia Richardson Ferguson, 90, of Cape Charles, passed away January 2, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Ernest H. and Clara D. Richardson. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the church's Faithful Workers, and the Northampton Chapter No. 2, Order of Eastern Star. For several years she volunteered at the Cape Charles Museum. Mrs. Ferguson is survived by her daughter, Marcia Sue and son-in-law Roderick P. Crawford; her son, George Ronald and daughter-in-law Patricia N. Ferguson; grandchildren, Elizabeth and her husband Wayne Williams, George R. Ferguson Jr. and his wife Jamie; seven great grandchildren, Michelle, Jamie Lynn, Grace, Sarah, Jocelyn, Dylan, and Jamary. The family thanks Jackie Holder, Sandy Lewis, and David Mitchell for the kindness shown to their mother. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 8, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church in Cape Charles with Rev. Elizabeth Lutz and Dr. Charles Peterson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cape Charles Museum, 814 Randolph Ave., Cape Charles, VA 23310.
