Viola Warren

Viola F. (Farlow) Warren, 86, of Quinby, VA slipped peacefully into the arms of the Lord on April 29, 2016. A native of Quinby, she was the daughter of the late Moody W. Fluhart and the late Margaret Powell Fluhart. It was here that she married her first husband, John H. Farlow and raised four children. After his passing in 1992, she married Frank C. Warren who preceded her in death in 2006. Viola was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church for many years and later attended Quinby Methodist. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Viola enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, fishing, bingo, playing cards, game shows, old movies, puzzles and reading.

She is survived by four children, Debbie Moon and her husband, Dave, of Wachapreague, VA, Joan Farlow Reed, John Farlow and his wife, Barbara, all of Salisbury, MD, Gregory Farlow and his wife, Teresa, of Laurel, DE; two stepsons, Larry Warren and his wife, Julie, of Falls Church, VA, Boogie Warren and his wife, Leslie, of Stuart, FL; one sister, Edna Williams and her husband, Don, of Dover, DE; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home with Reverend Rob Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in Quinby Cemetery. Family will join friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Intrepid Hospice Care, Post Office Box 770, Onley, VA 23418.
