Vincent Francis Wood

Vincent Francis Wood, 91, husband of the late Elizabeth Doughty Wood and a resident of Cheriton, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox. A native of Cheriton, he was the son of the late Ernest T. Wood and the late Theresa Etz Wood. He was a retired Produce Manager for Northampton Growers and a life long member of St. Charles Catholic Church. Mr. Wood is survived by a son, Calvin Wood and his wife Sara of Cheriton, VA.; two sisters, Theresa Mary Simonds and her husband Bill, and Josephine W. Blanchet and her husband Ernie both of Troy, N.Y.; three grandchildren; Keenan, Brian, and Timothy Wood A Mass of Resurrection will be conducted Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at 11:00 am at St. Charles Catholic Church with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Charles Catholic Church Columbarium.
