Turner Taylor

February 21, 1972 — September 14, 2014

Turner Mapp Taylor, 42, beloved husband of Angie Lewis Taylor and a resident of Craddockville, VA, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Craddockville, he was the son of Samuel T. Taylor, III of Craddockville and the late Georgie Mae Drummond Taylor. He was Secretary - Treasurer of H.W. Drummond, Inc., a graduate of Virginia Tech, devoted member of Hollies Baptist Church, N.R.A., Exmore Moose Lodge #683 and an avid Virginia Tech fan. In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by three daughters, Courtney Taylor, Sarah Taylor and Meghan Taylor, all of Craddockville; a sister, Dorothy T. Tadder and her husband, Mark, of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother, Samuel T. Taylor, IV and his wife, Mamie, of Craddockville; two aunts and uncles, Robert and Helen Jean Clark of Virginia Beach, Robert and Jo Sue Parker of Scarborough's Neck Road; mother and father-in-law, Jerry and Dawn Lewis of Wattsville, VA; sister-in-law, Tonya L. Beasley and her husband, Coley, of Sanford, VA and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted Friday, September 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Belle Haven Cemetery with Pastor Joe McKnight officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hollies Baptist Church, P.O. Box 7, Keller, VA 23401 or to Virginia Tech Athletic Fund, P.O. Box 10307, Blacksburg, VA 24062.
