Timothy Norman Bell, 58, a resident of Oyster, VA, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Oyster, he was the son of Norman "Buddy" Bell and Anne West Bell of Oyster. He spent his time doing what he loved, working on the water, as did many generations before him. He spent many of his years devoted to oysters and has a family history of many generations of champion oyster farmers. He enjoyed sharing his passion of the water with others. He had a huge heart and was a very passionate man, but most importantly he was a loving and devoted father. Timmy will be missed dearly.
In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by two daughters, Amanda B. Bell and her husband, Dan, of Cape Charles, VA, Mari Bell of Nassawadox; a sister, Lisha Bell of Oyster; a brother, Edward M. Bell of Eastville, VA; five grandsons and one granddaughter.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverside Shore Hospice, P. O. Box 615, Onley, VA 23418 or to the Barrier Island Center, P. O. Box 206, Machipongo, VA 23405.
