Thomas Mays

Thomas Earl Mays, 85, husband of Laura Mays and a resident of Belle Haven, VA, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Russellville, AL, he was the son of the late Walter Bell Mays and the late Leona Woods Mays. He was a retired HVAC contractor and U.S. Navy Veteran.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Richard Mays, and Sonia Mays, both of North Carolina, Silvia Perez and her husband, Michael, of Willis Wharf, VA; a sister, Opal Tuttle; two grandchildren, Megan Fischer, and Dustin Lee.

To honor his request, no public service will be held. Memorials may be made to S.P.C.A. Animal Shelter, P. O. Box 164, Onley, VA 23418, or to ESOF, supporting veterans and youth, P. O. Box 726, Onley, VA 23418.
