Mr. Thomas Ray Lewis, Sr., 70, husband of Bonnie Baker Lewis and a resident of Seaview, passed away at his residence on Sunday, October 9, 2005. A native of Oyster, he was the son of the late Thomas Jackson "Pete" Lewis and the late Alice Marshall Lewis. He was the former owner and operator of Tommy's Exxon and a member of Travis Chapel United Methodist Church. Other that his wife he is survived by five children, Thomas Ray Lewis, Jr. of Eastville, Va., Terri L. Mullen and her husband John of Ashland, Va., Beverly J. Walker of Seaview, Va., Teressa L. Bonney and her husband Dave of New Church, Va., Connie Rittenhouse and her husband Scott of Cape Charles, Va.; a brother, Rev. Steve Lewis and his wife June of Covington, Va.; sixteen grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Caroline Brigden and a daughter Lou Ellen Smith. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the graveside of Capeville Masonic Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Strock officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Eastern Shore, P.O. Box 316, Parksley, Va. 23421. Arrangements made by Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home, Cape Charles, Va.
