Thomas Lee Jackson, Sr.

Thomas Lee Jackson, Sr., 78, of Machipongo, Virginia, husband of Phoebe Lysia Jackson, passed away at his residence on November 7, 2011. He was a husband, father, brother, Uncle, grandfather, friend and neighbor. He found joy in spending time with his family and fishing. A native of Hyattsville, Maryland, he was the son of the late Paul Adams Jackson and the late Norma Holtzclaw Jackson. Mr. Jackson was the President of Thomas Jackson Associates and retired from PPC of Syracuse, New York. He was a member of Zion Mennonite Church in Pennsylvania, and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Along with his wife, he is survived by two sons, Thomas Lee Jackson Jr. and his wife Lisa and their son, Blake John Jackson, all of McKinney, Texas; David Harold Jackson and his wife Sandra and their sons, Curtis Lee Jackson and Adam Fenton Jackson, all of Manlius, New York; one daughter, Patti Lysia Gehris and her husband Dennis, and their son and daughter, Jackson Harold Gehris and Lysia Jacqueline Gehris, all of Skippack, Pennsylvania. Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his eight siblings. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. at the Jackson residence with Pastor Alex Joyner officiating. Please omit flowers.
