Thomas James Barrow Sr.

Thomas James Barrow Sr., 87, husband of the late Amy Shelton Barrow and a resident of Eden, Maryland, passed away Friday, February 13, 2009 at Manokin Manor in Princess Anne, Maryland. A native of Wrens, Georgia, he was the son of the late Henry and Lillian Duke Barrow. He retired from Orkin and was a WWII and Korean War Veteran. He is survived by three children, David B. Barrow and his wife Dorothy, Thomas J. Barrow Jr., all of Eden, Md., and Nancy L. Barrow of Fruitland, Md.; two sisters, Fannie Windom, Mary Gay; a brother, Jake Barrow all of Wrens, Ga.; 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three children, Margaret A. Lovett, G. Wayne Barrow, Irvin Francis Barrow. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 16, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. from the Doughty Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Dow Wood officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Haven Cemetery with Military Honors. Family will join friends at the Doughty Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.
