Thelma Doughty Hill

Mrs. Thelma Doughty Hill, 68, of Silver Beach, passed away Monday, February 19, 2007 at the home of her daughter in Hampton, VA. She was the daughter of the late James G. Doughty and the late Christine Houston Doughty. Mrs. Hill was a retired bookkeeper and beautician and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, the Eastern Shore Silver Salts WAVES National, Unit 147, Northampton Country Club, and Eastern Shore Yacht & Country Club. She is survived by two children, James George Hill, II of Hampton and Christine Hill Medice and her husband Richard of Hampton; a brother, James Tankard Doughty of Keller, VA ; a sister Mabel Herrick of Seaford, DE; four grandchildren, Chris Muldowney of Hampton, Andrea Mims Shields of AL, Courtney Hill of Philadelphia, PA, and Kelly Marie Patrick of Hampton. She was predeceased by a daughter, Dawn Marie Hill. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 24th at 11:00 AM from the graveside of Belle Haven Cemetery with the Rev.
