Thelma "Toni" Burgoyne

Thelma “Toni” Louise Burgoyne, 89, and “Noni” to her grand and great grandchildren, passed away at her home in Machipongo, VA, on December 23, 2024. Toni was born on October 23, 1935, in Binghamton, NY. She is the daughter of the late George Stanley Class and the late Maxine Louise Knauf. 

She worked and retired as a Security Guard for Global Security, and was a member of Rock Church in Onley, VA. 

Toni is survived by three children, Joy L. Schwab (Elvin), Diane -Jo Newman (Mark), and Joe Boatwright (Sandra); thirteen grandchildren, Holly, Seth, Ryan D, Jessica, James, Jennifer, Shannon, Luke, Kylie, Jessica, Tina, Hannah and Wendy; twenty great grandchildren Safire, Bryce, Story (Bear), Everly-Ann, Silas A., Jillian, Ryan, Chloe, Rachael, Rozalyn, Shane, Jackson, Killian, Leo, McKenna, Alana, Zoe, GiaVanna, Alayna, and Zachary. She is predeceased by a son, Kevin; two grandchildren, Emily and Jessica; her brother, Erwin; and her sister, Melanie. 

Funeral Services will be held at Rock Church of the Eastern Shore in Onley, VA. on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Paul Nolz officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rock Church, 27112 Lankford Hwy, Onley, VA 23418.
