Teresa Thornton Parker

Teresa Thornton Parker, 48, wife of Roy E. Parker, Jr. and a resident of Virginia Beach, passed away Friday, May 30, 2008 in Norfolk. A native of Exmore, Mrs. Parker was the daughter of the late Edna Lilliston Bowen and her stepfather, Billy Bowen, Jr. of Exmore and John L. Thornton and his wife Mary Lou of Melfa, VA. Other than her husband, Mrs. Parker is survived by three children, Donald Parker and Roy E. Parker, III, both of Virginia Beach and Edna Lenae Parker of Nashville, TN; a brother, John L. Thornton, Jr. of FL, two sisters, Sandy Bowen of MA and Darlene Huckleberry of NC, two step sisters, Annette Parks and Cathy Jo Dement, both of Melfa, and five grandchildren. Mrs Thornton was predeceased by a step brother, Billy Bowen, III. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 2, 2008 at 1:00 PM from the graveside of Cape Charles Cemetery with the Rev. Randy E.
