Suzanne Velsor Kropfeld

Suzanne Velsor Kropfeld, 68, wife of William C. Kropfeld and a resident of Machipongo, VA, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Huntington Long Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late Reverend Warren Velsor and the late Christelle Harris Velsor. She was the former owner and manager of Cape Motel and a member of Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post #56 in Cheriton, VA. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Loraine Kelly and her husband, William, of Norfolk, VA, John Kropfeld of Columbia, MD, Kevin Kropfeld of Minnesota, Sean Kropfeld of Columbia, MD, Paul Kropfeld of Fell's Point, MD; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A service of remembrance will be conducted Friday, March 1, 2013 at 5:00 pm at American Legion Post #56 with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating.
