Susan Hudson Kellam

Susan Hudson Kellam, 59, wife of Donald Edward Kellam, Jr. and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 at her residence. A native of Exmore, she was the daughter of C. Thomas Hudson and Gloria Thomas Hudson of Exmore. She was a graduate of Old Dominion University, taught Special Education for Accomack County Public Schools until 1984, a member of Exmore Baptist Church and coordinator of Operation Christmas Child for the Eastern Shore for 15 years.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by a son, Ryan Kenneth Kellam and his wife, Christy, of Exmore; a brother, Craig Hudson and his wife, Karen, of Willis Wharf, VA; two sisters, Krista Jones and her husband, Woody, of Melfa, VA, Kelley Williams and her husband, Roy, of Hertford, NC; a grandson, Chandler Thomas Kellam of Exmore and a grandson due in January, Hudson Kenneth Kellam.
A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Belle Haven Cemetery with Reverend Jonathan Carpenter officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Operation Christmas Child, c/o Exmore Baptist Church, 11624 Occohannock Road, Exmore, VA 23350.
