Stephen L. Parks

Stephen Lee Parks, 55, husband of Leticia Parks and a resident of Nassawadox, Virginia, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011 at his residence. A native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, he is the son of Gerald L. and Eula Mae Doughty Parks of Nassawadox. Mr. Parks was past president of Capes Shipping Agency of Norfolk, past president of Hampton Roads Coal Association, and a member of the Propeller Club, and Hampton Roads Maritime Association. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a sister, Brenda Lynn Parks of Virginia Beach; an aunt, Janice Mae Hylton and her husband, Buddy, of Salt Lake, Utah; and numerous cousins. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with the Rev. Suzanne Schmid and Rev. Jack D. Pruitt officiating.
