Sophia J. Hamilton

Sophia Josephine Hamilton, 95, wife of the late Howard Hamilton and a resident of Eastville, VA, passed away peacefully Friday, August 7, 2015, at home surrounded by her family. A native of Union, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Harold "Happy" Alling and the late Remembrance Small Alling. She was the retired owner of Sea Croft Hotel in Ocean Grove, NJ and was a member of Eastville Baptist Church. She is survived by seven children, Patricia, Richard, Thomas, Timothy, Charles, Sheree and Howard, Jr.; fourteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Christopher. To honor her wishes no public service will be held. Should friends desire memorials may be made to the S.P.C.A. Animal shelter, P. O.
