Sidney A. Mapp

Mr. Sidney Alfred Mapp, 62, of Belle Haven passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at his residence. A native of Belle Haven he was the son of the late Cabell W. Mapp and the late Louise Jones Mapp. He was a manager for Glebe Vineyards. He was a member of Belle Haven Presbyterian Church and was a United States Navy Veteran having served two tours in Vietnam. He is survived by a brother, Robert C. Mapp of Norfolk, Va., and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Mapp was predeceased by a sister, Lillian Mapp Barber. Funeral services for Mr. Mapp will be conducted Saturday, August 5th at 11:00 AM from the Graveside of Belle Haven Cemetery with the Rev. Ernest Gardner III officiating.
