Shirley Isdell Guy, 78, a resident of Birdsnest, VA, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Birdsnest, she was the daughter of the late Maggie Hinman Moore, the late Woodrow W. Isdell and the late Bessie Isdell. She was a member of Community Church of God.
She is survived by three children, Larry Morris and his wife, Vicki, of Painter, VA, Shirley Pruitt of Birdsnest, Jack Smith and his wife, Haley, of Cape Charles, VA; four grandchildren, Neonta Taylor and her husband, Adam, Larry Morris, Jr., Chris Pruitt, Jason Smith; and two great grandchildren, A.J. Taylor and Andrew Taylor. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Smith and son, Frank Morris III.
A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Belle Haven Cemetery with Reverend Judith Worthington officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Eastern Shore, 165 Market Street, Suite #3, Onancock, VA 23417.
