Shirl A. Grenell

Shirl A. Grenell, 60, a resident of Cheriton, VA, passed away Friday, July 3, 2009 at Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Cape Charles, she was the daughter of Susie Showard Crockett of Cheriton and the late Carlton Crockett.She was employed by Intrepid Healthcare Services. Other than her mother, she is survived by three children, Sherri Legant Kimball and Keith of Virginia Beach, David Legant and his wife Jennifer of Hawaii, and Damon Lattimer of Virginia Beach; a sister, Elizabeth K. Cash and her husband Ronnie of Madison Heights, VA; grandchildren, BrookeLynn Hallmark of Virginia Beach, Morgan, Sarah, and Nicole Legant of Hawaii, Kelsey and Damon Lattimer II of North Carolina; two nieces and one nephew. A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home in Cape Charles with the Rev. Russell Goodrich officiating. Following the service, friends may join the family at the home of Ann Walker, 22601 Parsons Circle, Cape Charles, VA.
