Sarah Lucille Fluhart Fought, 74, loving wife of the late Robert Edward Fought, peacefully passed away Friday, May 25th, 2012, in Warrenton, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late William E. Fluhart and the late Margaret Susan Isdell Fluhart of Quinby, Virginia. Mrs. Fought retired as Secretary to the Chief of the Arlington County Fire Department. She was an Exmore resident, and attended Smith's Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and was survived by her three children: Warren D. Freeman of Ashburn, Virginia, his wife, Frances, and their sons, Franklyn, Nicolas and Patrick; Meg F. Peck of Bloomingdale, Ohio, her husband, Thomas, and their children, Vincent, Samantha, Julia and Thomas, II; Michele F. Richardson of Sumerduck, Virginia, and her husband, David, and their children, Kyle and Catie, and Catie's children, Michael and Gabriel. She is also survived by her brother, Dorsey Allen Fluhart of Quinby, her sister, Elizabeth Widgeon of Eastville. She was predeceased by her brother, William E. Fluhart and her sister, Susan Bundick. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 2nd, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. at Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with Pastor Rebecca McGee officiating. Interment will follow in the Quinby Cemetery. The family will join friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 8:00 to 9:00 PM and Saturday afternoon one hour prior to the service.
