Sandy Storherr

Sandra Marianne (Daily) Storherr, 85, beloved wife of the late Robert W. Storherr and a resident of Willis Wharf, VA, passed away to be with the Lord Saturday, April 18, 2020. A native of King of Prussia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank N. Daily and the late Victoria E. Konczak Daily.

Sandy was an alumnus of Mt. St. Joseph’s Academy, Chestnut Hill, PA, and a United States Korean War Veteran. She retired from Grumman/NASA’s Space Station Freedom Project, Reston, VA, She was a charter member of WIMSA at Arlington National Cemetery and Waves National American Legion Post 56, Cheriton, VA, Charter President of the Ladies Auxillary #6963 Knights of Columbus, Alzheimer’s Association Support Leader, member of the Women of the Moose Lodge # 683, Eastern Shore Art League, the RSVP group, and a special Eastern Shore Emmaus #25 member. She was a Salvation Army Bell-ringer for 9 plus years, a Shore Memorial Hospital volunteer for over 10 years, and an active Lector for more than 12 years at St. Peter’s the Apostle Catholic Church in Onley.

She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Kathleen, and son, Richard.

Due to the current situation with the COVID- 19 virus, a Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, c/o Edward Stetar, P. O. Box 1274, Exmore, VA 23350.
