Samuel J. Abraham

Samuel Joseph Abraham, 76, husband of Ann Delohery Abraham and a resident of Cheriton, VA, passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at his residence. A native of Utica, NY, he was the son of the late David and Esther Marie Abraham. He was a retired correctional officer for the N. J. Dept. of Corrections. After his retirement he opened Abraham's Produce, where he sold vegetables for many years. He also enjoyed making arts and crafts for his friends. In addition to his wife, he is survived by nine children, Margaret, Laura, Vincent, Laurene, Jo Ann, Steven, Scott, Nicholas, and Thomas; nine grandchildren, Donnie, Monica, Alex, Bryan, Rose Marie, Cheyenne, Trinity, Ryan, and Emily; two-great grandchildren; three brothers, David Anthony, and Roger; two sisters, Lucy, and Karen; and several nieces and nephews.
