Mrs. Sally George Reynolds, 74, a resident of Oyster, Va. passed away Monday May 2, 2005 at the Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox. A native of Cape Charles, she was the daughter of the late Ray V. George and the late Thelma Whitehead George. Mrs. Reynolds taught for thirty- one years in the Northampton Public School System. She spearheaded the Special Education Program in 1963, retiring in 1994 to spend time with her family. She was a member of Travis Chapel United Methodist Church and the Virginia Education Association. Mrs. Reynolds is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Floyd E. Reynolds, Sr., three daughters, Abbie Phipps of Ramstein, Germany, Vicki Devereaux of Pass Christian, Mississippi, Sherri Reynolds-Brown of Virginia Beach, Virginia, a son, Floyd E. Reynolds, Jr., of Chesapeake, Virginia, two grandchildren, Paul Phipps and Shiela Bowen, one great grandchild, Cody Bowen. Funeral services will be held Thursday May 5, 2005 at 2:00 PM in Travis Chapel United Methodist Church, Oyster, Va. with the Rev. Nathan Decker officiating.
