Roy W. Drummond, Sr., 95, husband of the late Mary Frances Elliott Drummond and a resident of Pungoteague, VA, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Shore LifeCare in Parksley. A native of Pungoteague, he was the son of the late Francis S. Drummond and the late Edna Earle Doughty Drummond. He was a retired building contractor and a World War II veteran. Survivors include a son, Roy W. Drummond, Jr. and his wife Jean of Orlando, FL; two grandsons, Raymond Earl Drummond of Pungoteague and David Roy Drummond and his wife Sandy of Belle Haven; a brother, Frank Drummond and his wife Dorothy of Pungoteague; two sisters, Kathryne D. Wallace of Concord Wharf, and Ann Whitfield and her husband, Jimmy of Baltimore, MD; three great grandsons, Trevor Myles Drummond, Brian David Drummond, and Nicholas Chase Drummond. Mr. Drummond was predeceased by a son, F. Elliott Drummond. A graveside service will be held at the Onancock Cemetery Saturday, November 27, 2010, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bobby Parks officiating.
