Rosa Powell Mears, 64, resident of Exmore, VA, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Cades, SC, she was the daughter of the late Freddie Burkett and the late Evelyn Smiley Burkett. She was retired from Perdue in Accomac, VA. She is survived by a brother, Joey Burkett, of Cades. She was predeceased by her first husband, Paul Powell.
