Ronald King Sembler

August 20, 1935 — February 15, 2012

Ronald King Sembler, 76, husband of Barbara Hanney Sembler and a resident of Cedar View Beach, Painter, VA, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at his residence. A native of Point Pleasant, NJ, he was the son of the late George Sembler and the late Helen Cowell Sembler. He was a retired boiler operator at N.A.D. Earle Naval Base, a member of V.F.W. Point Pleasant Beach Post and American Legion Post #196. Other than his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Kellam of Painter; one son, George D. "Rusty" Sembler and his wife, Sharon; and two grandchildren, Aiden Sembler and Morgan Sembler, all of Point Pleasant. He was predeceased by a son, Ronald Kurt Sembler. To honor his request, no public service will be held. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Eastern Shore, Attn: Fragile Hearts, 165 Market Street, Suite 3, Onancock, VA 23417.
