Roger S. Gillen

Roger Sherman Gillen, 80, husband of Carol Mott Gillen and a resident of Nassawadox, VA, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News. A native of Long Island, New York, he was the son of the late Harry and Margaret Sherman Gillen. Mr. Gillen was a retired photo engraver. Other than his wife, he is survived by a son, Patrick J. Gillen of Fairburn, GA; a nephew, David Nagler of Santa Fe, New Mexico, a niece, Lisa DeClue of Ill. Mr. Gillen was predeceased by two sons, Michael and Matthew Gillen. A Service of Remembrance will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with Father J. Micheal Breslin officiating.
