Robin Lynnette Savage, 48, a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013 at her residence. She had fought a long and courageous battle with Lupus, always with a smile on her face and never complaining. A native of New Windsor, MD, she was the beloved daughter of Fred Savage and Sandy Savage of Exmore. She was a 1983 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School, an avid softball player, field hockey player, member of the marching band and she performed with the band at Walt Disney World and the Indianapolis 500 Race, member of the Baltimore Ravens marching band and loved to play saxophone, trombone and guitar. She worked for Masten Lumber Company, Kempsville Building Supply, was a certified C.G.C. Trainer, worked with training assistance dogs and was a member of Onley United Methodist Church. Robin's passions were the Lord, love of family, friends and animals. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Paul and Viola Koontz of Exmore; an adopted sister, Nelda Lafoso and family of Onancock, VA and her "Cuz", Shirley Deeds and family of Accomac, VA. A celebration of life service will be conducted Friday, September 20, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Onley United Methodist Church with Reverend Charles W. Parks III officiating.
