Robertson L. "Bobby" Sparrow, Sr.

Mr. Robertson Lee "Bobby" Sparrow, Sr., 77, of Cheriton, passed away Friday, June 25, 2010 in Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Cashville, he was the son of the late Wesley Lee and Marian Hart Sparrow. After his retirement from Colonial Store, he was a agent for Peoples Security Insurance Company. He was a member of the Cheriton United Methodist Church, Capeville Masonic Lodge #107 AF&AM, and Past President of the Cape Charles Country Club. Survivors include five children, Pam S. Wilkins and her husband Dean of Capeville, VA, Karen S. Merritt and her husband Timmy of Machipongo, VA, Robin S. Spencer of Cape Charles, VA, Lisa S. Weber and her husband Jim of Eastville, Va., and Lee Sparrow and his wife Donna of Capeville, VA; eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sparrow was predeceased by a brother, Donnie Sparrow. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Cheriton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lynda Moore officiating.
