Roberta S. Gregory

Mrs. Roberta Sturgis Gregory, 93, wife of the late John Adam Gregory and a resident of Davis Wharf, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2005 at the home of her son. A native of Davis Wharf she was the daughter of the late Len Sturgis and the late Lella Elmore Sturgis. She was a member of Craddockville United Methodist Church, where she served as the Membership Secretary for many years and was a member of the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Gregory is survived by two sons, Gene F. Gregory and his wife Lois and Jack A. Gregory and his wife Anne all of Davis Wharf; one sister, Charlotte S. Custis of Craddockville; one brother, Leonard F. Sturgis of Davis Wharf; and three grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, June 5, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the graveside of Mt. Holly Cemetery in Onancock with the Rev. Kenneth T. Armstrong officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Eastern Shore, P.O. Box 316, Parksley, Va. 23421.
