Robert Ailworth Scott

Robert Ailworth Scott, 91, husband of the late Ann Kellam Scott and a resident of Ingleside in Eastville, VA, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Hermitage on the Eastern Shore in Onancock, VA. A native of Eastville, he was the son of the late William Clinton Scott and the late Ellen Kendall Ailworth Scott. He was a retired farmer, member of Christ Episcopal Church, former member of Northampton County Planning Commission and former board member of Eastville Bank and Nation's Bank. He is survived by a son, Robert A. Scott, Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Cheriton, VA; two grandchildren, Robert A. Scott, III of Hopewell, VA, Brittany Scott of Eastville; a great granddaughter, Trinity Scott and a niece, Ellen Quinton Dix of Eastville. He was predeceased by his sister, Ellen Scott Dix. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Christ Episcopal Church Cemetery with Reverend Daniel Crockett officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Eastern Shore, 165 Market Street, Suite #3, Onancock, VA 23417.
