Robert John Della Penna, 85, husband of Rosemarie J. Della Penna and a resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at his residence. A native of Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Dominick Della Penna and the late Helen Krosteck Della Penna. He was a retired building contractor and attended St. Charles Catholic Church.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lisa Marie Lunger and her husband, Sam, of Cape Charles and two granddaughters, Darby Jane Lunger and Savannah Grace Lunger, both of Cape Charles.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Catholic Church with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eastern Shore Spay Organization, 212 Bay Avenue, Cape Charles, Virginia 23310.
