Robert Kohl

Robert James Kohl, 91, husband of Linda W. Connor and a resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, Onancock. A native of Durham, PA, he was the son of the late Robert K. Kohl and the late Lulu Wolbach Kohl. Robert was a United States Army Veteran and was a retired sheet metal contractor at Histand Brothers Inc. and Christian Heating and Air Conditioning.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by six children, Timothy Kohl and his wife, Sandra, Kristine Kohl, Richard Kohl and his wife, Filomena, Karen Trauger and her husband, Cory, Peter Alpern and his wife, Elizabeth, Elaine Alpern and her husband Nicholas Cafferillo; one brother, Raymond Kohl; four sisters, Joan Bray, Mary Kohl, Barbara Lubert and Ginger McGuire; fifteen adored grandchildren and his loving dog Chessie.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday, January 13, 2023, at 11:00AM at Beulah Cemetery, New Britain, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SPCA Eastern Shore Inc. PO Box 164, Onley, VA  23418 or a charity of one’s choice.
