Robert E. Davis

Robert Eugene Davis, 73, husband of Patricia Grant Davis and resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010 at his residence. He is the son of the late Elbert and Florence Davis. Mr. Davis was a program consultant, an insurance and Wall Street Broker with many years of experience. He was a 50 year member of Orient Masonic Lodge #321 AF&AM of Waverly, Ohio. He was a Shriner and member of the Scottish Rites. He was an active contributor to the Crippled Children's Hospital. Other than his wife, he is survived by 4 children, William J. Davis, Robert E. Davis, Jr., Debra F. Davis and Blane Allen Robertson; one brother, Joe Davis; two sisters, Erelene Snyder and Aluna Ruth Stokes; a grandson, Aaron Davis; two great grandchildren; a great-great nephew, Alex Fry; and 8 Kentucky cousins. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 10th at 2:00 PM at the Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home, Cape Charles. Interment will follow in the Capeville Masonic Cemetery.
