Robert H. Avery

Mr. Robert Harry Avery, 67, husband of the late Geraldine C. Avery and a resident of Virginia Landing near Quinby, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2007 at his residence. A native of Lynn, MA, he was the son of the late Harry Avery and the late Margaret Foreman Avery. Mr. Avery retired from the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by three children, Benny Avery of Parksley, VA, Linda M. MacDonald & her husband George of Chesapeake, VA, and Robert John Avery of Chesapeake, VA; one sister, Elaine A. Christopher & her husband Dan of Coral Springs, FL.; six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 11, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating.
